The factors of risk of cancer of prostate (CP) are the following ones:

(1) Age:

- The CP risk increases from the 50 to. in men of white race without familiar Hª and from the 40 to. in black race and in those with familiar Hª of the first grade (brother, father) with CP.

- In the consulted questionnaire (Harvard), the determination of the risk only is possible from the 40 to.

- The risk increases with the age, but there exists neither any "peak" of risk nor any bimodal distribution.

(2) Race:

- The highest incidence observed on a global scale is in the USA, in men of black race. The CP incidence in the black race, is 1.5 times that of the targets

- The Asians have the lowest percentages

(3) Geography:

- The highest incidence is in Scandinavia and the lowest is in Asia

(4) Familiar Hª:

- To have a relative of the first grade with CP increases approximately 2 times the risk of developing it

(5) Greasy diet:

- His roll is not demonstrated definitely (according to the book Cancer management), on the other hand in the Harvard questionnaire it is included like risk factor and tells that the consumption of 5 or more rations (servings) of meal with animal fats a day, the risk increases, while the consumption lower than 5 rations diminishes it

* Serving = small meal quantity - sufficient to fill the palm of the hand.

(6) Diet based on tomato:

- The consumption of 5 or more rations (serving) of meal based on tomato, it diminishes the CP risk.

* Serving = ½ sauce glass approximately.

This risk factor does not include in the Cancer book management...

(7) Vasectomy:

- Several epidemiologic wide studies suggest that the vasectomy can increase the relative CP risk a 1. 85. Cancer is not demonstrated according to the book management

(8) Height:

- The Harvard questionnaire includes also the height as factor of risk. This factor does not include in the book Cancer management...

· The classification of the risk can be punctuated like High place - Average - Low

Also it is possible to include the lowest risk to which it is possible to come if there are eliminated the factors of risk on which it is possible to act. It is possible to do by means of a graph.

· As soon as the risk was determined, it is possible to include an explanation of the factors of risk of the person in particular. Also it is possible to include other tumors with the same risk factor, and other illnesses that can be avoided eliminating the above mentioned factor. Also it is possible to add a paragraph in which it should be explained what is done at the community level to diminish this risk (public education, schools, etc.), with links to other web pages. · In the situations in which there is no risk, it is warned that it is a question of an estimation, which does not mean that he makes sure that the person in question will never have a CP.

· In the Harvard questionnaire, he wonders if there exists the personal precedent of a previous cancer. In affirmative case he mentions that it is not possible to determine the risk of very exact form since as the fact of enduring a cancer it already has risk.

· In case of carrying out actions that diminish the risk, the person is congratulated.
