Jordi Estapé, born on May 25 of 1.933 in Barcelona. Married, father of 5 children and with six grandchildren.

Temporary aggregate teacher of oncología médica, authorize of medicine, University of Barcelona, from 1-1-1976 to December, 1982.

The first cátedra of oncología (faculty of medicine of the university of Barcelona, 1983) in the state español and one of the first ones in europa, introducing the above mentioned discipline in the students' medicine résumé.

The first service of oncología médica (Hospital Clinic, Barcelona, from January, 1982 until May, 1988) inside a department of internal medicine, like the first milestone in modernización and recolocación of this discipline.
